Robinson’s mobile fuel trailer provides fleet fueling solutions

Robinson Gas Trailer mobile fuel trailerSnowplowing businesses and other commercial fleets save time and money

Adding a Robinson mobile fuel trailer to your asset mix this winter can provide your fleet with the versatility it needs to head immediately to job sites rather than wasting time at the gas station. Snowplowing and lawn care businesses, in particular, understand the value that time savings contributes to the bottom line.

New Jersey-based Snowbusters Winter Services invested in Robinson’s Contractor 110 Deluxe trailer as a solution to the refueling challenges it faced in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. The storm made fuel access problematic, requiring hours of a technician’s time to repeatedly drive the company’s vehicles back and forth to gas stations.

Owner Keith Krehel figured there had to be a better way, and a mobile fuel trailer from Robinson proved to be the answer. The Contractor 110 Deluxe mobile fuel trailer has helped the Snowbusters Winter Services crew trim at least 80 percent from its fueling times, keeping the company’s vehicles and their drivers on the job and generating revenue.

Robinson’s mobile fuel trailer options provide supply flexibility

A fully loaded mobile fuel trailer gives commercial enterprises convenient access to fuel in the field as well as at the shop. Snowbusters Winter Services has developed a strategy that prepares its fleet for maximum operation before the first snowflakes even hit the ground.

Keith or another member of his crew will pull their DOT-compliant mobile fuel trailer to a gas station with one of their trucks that is lowest on fuel. They fill up the trailer and truck, and return to the lot to fill up as many pieces of equipment as possible. Then they take another truck back to the gas station with the mobile fuel trailer and repeat the process.

The final step features one last trip to fill up the trailer so it’s ready for the next set of pit stops by the equipment operators. It’s also possible to bring fuel directly to drivers in the field if necessary.

Robinson’s capabilities as a fuel tank trailer manufacturer deliver a wide range of skidded fuel systems as well as mobile fuel trailer options. Call us to discuss how a mobile fuel trailer can improve your business model.
