Our opportunity: Make Inauguration Day special for a new leader

Medalcraft Mint brass medallion chain of officeClear Creek Baptist Bible College did not have to look far to identify its new president in Dr. Charlie Goodman, an alumnus of the Pineville, Kentucky-based institution that focuses on education for Christian services. The challenge became securing an updated medallion for the presidential chain of office in time for the February 20, 2023, inauguration ceremony.

“We ordered with a very slim timeline,” admits Jay Sulfridge, PhD, formerly Dean of Academic Affairs and current Accreditation Liaison at the college. “Medalcraft Mint promised delivery of the medallion and went the extra mile to see that it was here in time for our inauguration.”

The Medalcraft production team crafted a 3-inch brass medallion with an antique finish and color enamel accents in Clear Creek’s deep green. Extra attention to the college’s timeframe and express shipping brought the medallion to Jay’s desk the Friday prior to the Monday ceremony.

“We were blown away with the workmanship. The medallion is stunning,” Jay says. “It was a central piece of a very important day in our history.”

Clear Creek Baptist Bible College is accredited by SACSCOC (The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) and ABHE (The Association for Biblical Higher Education) to offer Associate, Bachelor of Arts, and Master of Arts degrees.
