Dan VanKorn was on a mission to honor the sacrifices made by American veterans and their families when he contacted Medalcraft Mint for assistance in producing custom-designed, patriotic lapel pins. While Dan understood his small order might not create the revenue of bigger customers, he nevertheless was awed by the service he received.
“The art team absolutely crushed it,” says Dan, himself a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art Design. “I even have additional design options from Medalcraft that we didn’t use.”
Dan scoured the internet in search of a U.S.-based manufacturer that could deliver. He was delighted to find Medalcraft Mint in his home state of Wisconsin.
“The fact these custom label pins are made in the USA is huge,” he says. “I have an affinity for veterans and first responders. This project was about letting people know we stand with them.”
