Ephraim Shores Resort Door County vacationsIt’s that romantic time of the year. Gift giving can be difficult because you want to give your special someone a gift that is as meaningful as they are to you. How about the gift of quality time together? Ephraim Shores Resort is booking Door County vacations for the 2021 season now, so reserve a weekend for the two of you to spend together!

Door County vacations are something to look forward to for the both of you. Our private rooms, pool and hot tub, lakefront view, and close proximity to romantic restaurants and shops makes for the perfect getaway. We have some recommendations, including things we love about Door County vacations, so you can book the romantic getaway you deserve.

Things we love about Door County vacations

The food. Planning where you want to eat is a big part of any vacation. Door County has a wide variety of distinctive restaurants to choose from that will keep you excited for your next meal. To name just a few, for breakfast, we recommend Good Eggs which is a short walk from Ephraim Shores, Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay, and Pelletier’s in Fish Creek. For lunch and dinner, we suggest Wild Tomato, the Cookery, and Donny’s Glidden Lodge for a fine dining experience.

The drinks. Sip sip hooray! Door County vacations are not complete without drinks. A wine tasting at one of the many wineries in Door County, such as Door Peninsula Winery or Door 44 Winery, is a great place to start. An romantic date spot within walking distance of Ephraim Shores is Trixie’s. For a fun outdoor experience with a great view try Stabbur Beer Garden next to Al Johnson’s restaurant.

The shopping. Unique shops line the streets of almost every city in Door County. Since Door County shops are privately owned, the experience is personal and the products are one of a kind. Here are a few of our personal favorites: Beach People in Ephraim, Blue Dolphin in Ephraim, Maxwell House in Egg Harbor, and On Deck with locations in both Sturgeon Bay and Fish Creek.

The views. Door County sunsets are like no other, and the view from our sundeck is one of the best (in our biased opinion). Watching the sun set over Eagle Harbor with a glass of wine and great company is the perfect end to every day. But the views don’t stop there. The new lookout tower in Peninsula State Park and the bluffs at Cave Point County Park offer picturesque views also that you’ll find yourself snapping photos of.

The people. Guests make Ephraim Shores what it is, and we wouldn’t be here without you. A place can be amazing, but it’s nothing without the people. So grab a loved one, and book a stay at Ephraim Shores to spend some quality time with them in a place you love. YOU are what we love most about Door County vacations.
