TourGuide Solutions, North America’s leading provider of wireless tour guide systems, has released an instructional video series designed to help current and potential customers better understand how to use tour headsets.

The YouTube series includes a seven-video set featuring the premium Sennheiser 2020 system and a six-video set that focuses on TourGuide Solutions’ own TGS-900 system. Both systems have rental and full purchase options.

“One of the primary concerns people have is how to use these tour headsets,” said Alan Ruffell, Product Manager at TourGuide Solutions. “Despite their advanced technology and exceptional audio quality, they really are simple to use. We produced these two video series so viewers can take their time in learning more about these systems and how easy they are for both tour guides and participants.”

Videos About Tour Headsets Highlight Additional Features

While both the Sennheiser 2020 and TGS-900 offer quick setup and easy-to-use capabilities, secondary features often get overlooked in the rush to get them up and running. The videos highlight some of the most popular features of these walking tour audio systems so users know where to find them and how to use them.

“We are finding these videos are very helpful for our rental customers, who might use these tour headsets only a few times per year,” Ruffell says. “The videos serve as a refresher course and help their tour leaders get up to speed quicker.”

For example, the Sennheiser 2020 features a background noise reduction setting that provides tour leaders with the ability to adjust how much background noise enters into the wireless microphone or transmitter. The TGS-900 has a line-in input feature that allows tour leaders to play recorded audio such as music or a set introduction prior to the live tour.

“There really is nothing complicated about these systems, but the unknown always provides a little extra stress,” Ruffell notes. “These videos allow you to feel confident in how easy they are to set up so you can focus on the important aspects of your tour.”
