Recycled Pulp Supplier Vying for One of Five Grand Awards

DE PERE, Wis. – Fox River Fiber, an industry leader in the de-inking of post-consumer wastepaper, has been nominated for the 2014 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year awards.

The Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) program recognizes an array of manufacturers of all sizes and sectors of the economy for their economic contributions to the state of Wisconsin. The awards will be announced February 26 at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

Thirty-nine companies are vying for a total of five Grand Awards: four in categories based on company size, and one for providing an exceptional example of inventing and implementing innovative workforce development best practices.

Fox River Fiber earned the Best Places to Work Award from the Pulp and Paper Manufacturers Association (PPMA) in 2013 and the Business Friend of the Environment award from Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce in 2011.
