“Fabricated steel is the core of our business,” said Paul Adamski, Director of Sales at Badger Sheet Metal Works. “While our name refers to the ductwork we primarily produced many years ago, Badger Sheet Metal Works has evolved into a leader in supplying fabricated steel and high-end stainless steel products.”
Consistent weld quality is a key attribute of the structural steel and other fabricated steel products produced on Badger Sheet Metal Works’ 110,000-square-foot main shop floor. An on-staff Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) ensures the company’s craftsmen have appropriate weld qualifications for each fabricated steel project.
The shop floor features a 70 x 320-foot main assembly bay. Four crane rails have a total lifting capacity of 30 tons and a 22-foot under-hook height for extra-large fabricated steel products.
Healthcare Industry Fabrication
The Badger Sheet Metal Works production facility features dedicated clean space to perform high-quality stainless steel work for healthcare industry fabrication. Stainless steel products produced by Badger Sheet Metal Works have a very low FA value, which means they will degrade less and last longer than average.
“Our high-end stainless steel capabilities are crucial for healthcare industry fabrication,” Adamski said. “We have a separate clean environment for stainless steel fabrication that meets the 3A sanitation standards required by these customers.”
Projects related to the healthcare industry often include stainless steel frames, table tops, cabinets and tubing, along with conveyors, chutes and hoppers for the pharmaceutical industry. Available finishes include 32 ra, No. 4 polished finishes and pharmaceutical-grade, mirrored No. 8 finishes.
