ARMS, Inc. is celebrating its 35-year anniversary in 2018 as a leader in both the protection and destruction of physical and digital information for customers throughout the greater Wisconsin area and other parts of the United States.

The world of information and records management has evolved considerably since ARMS opened its doors in 1983. Since then, the De Pere, Wisconsin-based company has grown its service offerings to include secure certified shredding, scanning and digital conversion, and pertinent software solution sales.

“We are continually upgrading our technology, training and service offerings to meet the information management needs of our customers,” says Eric Haas, president and CEO at ARMS. “What began as a standard commercial records center 35 years ago has grown to encompass a wide range of services that benefit companies at multiple points in their information lifecycle.”

ARMS is a vertically integrated information management company

ARMS may be best known for its document destruction services, becoming the largest independent shredding provider in northeast Wisconsin. The company’s mobile shred truck provides convenient pickup of two types of locked collection receptacles that safeguard sensitive information.

ARMS’s De Pere campus has grown to feature 75,000 square feet of storage space for information assets ranging from paper files to computer hard drives and other media storage. The secure destruction of all types of physical media is an important component to data protection in an age of breach risk management.

“Our facilities are monitored around the clock, with security and fire protection as our top priorities,” Haas says. “Change is constant in every industry, and ours is no different. That’s why we are constantly developing solutions that enhance efficiencies for our customers.”

Those solutions now include enterprise document management and workflow automation solutions software, along with digital conversion services for outdated platforms such as old microfilm, microfiche and other photo records.
